Politics....

Well, I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion. Here are two political cartoons that I found very intriguing. The message pervade throughout the cartoons are very much straightforward. Both authors had a particular purpose to create such cartoons that are available for all individuals to view throughout newspapers and the web. Regarding both cartoons, I believe the authors were trying to persuade their audience, U.S citizens, to understand their opinion and perspective on this year’s election. In the first cartoon, the rhetoric is very much obvious. More than likely, the cartoonist is probably not a huge fan of McCain’s. He or she alludes that the purpose McCain withholds isn’t very much strong. There also can be other interpretations of this cartoon. As far as the second cartoon, the message here seems to very skeptical. This cartoonist alludes that some citizens are very much in tuned with the election, candidacy, the debates and so on. While others, they aren’t huge fans of such political awareness. The details of both photos are persuasive as well. The McCain cartoon shows an elephant with no feet. Obviously this animal can’t “take charge” with no FEET! This would be humorous to some people. The nonchalant cartoon, if you want to say, has details also. The newspaper in one of the characters hand entitles “Oh, Dear, Primaries.” A message with this one holds the same disregard of such politicians. Despite these two cartoons, there are various political cartoons that have the same or a different specific intent. Most are for entertainment and/or praising and others are for criticizing.
