I was reading online Korean news this morning and found a shocking news.

The news was that Korea's number one national treasure was burnt down last night. The treasure was a gate consisting of two floors and it was located in the middle of capital city Seoul. Everybody in Korean is now shocked and people are trying to find why and how such a conflagration was made. According to a witness, there was a man putting a fire on the second floor of the gate and as the fire ignited the man ran away. As a Korean, I feel really shameful for such a incident, but what is more shameful is that when the witness called the police, the size of the fire was very small and located only on the second floor so the fire could have easily been extinguished if a portion of the roof was removed throw water through. However, the government ordered the firefighters to minimize the damage to the gate and not to break the roof. As a result, the fire was not easily put out, and resulted in such a complete disaster.
